Our GRD Memorial library has rich collection of books, journals and e-resources catering to students, research scholars and faculty members. Presently, over 2.47 Lakhs books, 12574 CDs/DVDs and 240 printed journals are possessed by the library access to more than 9000 online electronic journals. The library is automated having an online portal that can be easily accessed by the users. The library implemented PSG-ILMS which is an integrated Library Management System that supports all housekeeping operations of the library. There is a separate Digital Library having 60 computers running on high speed internet. The library system and staff is meticulously focused for providing comfortable, user friendly environment so as to enables learning and knowledge creation. PSG College of Technology invites applications from the eligible candidates for internship program:-



Number of Interns : 09

Stipend : Will be provided on successful completion of the internship

Nature of Work : Modernization of Library Activities, ICT enabled Product

Development, Web/Mobile App development, IOT

Applications

Qualification/Eligibility : M.Li.Sc/M.Sc./ B.E/B.Tech/ Diploma/B.Sc/ with minimum

65% marks

Age limit : Below 27 years

Internship / Period : Minimum 21 Days Maximum 30 days



The selected candidates will get practical training on the latest tools and techniques of information handling which is used in the library. They are expected to work in shifts and weekends.



Eligible candidates will be called for written test/Skill test as per recommendations of the Screening Committee constituted for this purpose. Fulfillment of minimum qualification is not a claim for written test/Skill test/interview call. The Institute has all the rights to select the candidates for internship. On successful completion of the internship, certificate will be provided.



Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may send their applications in prescribed format to The Principal, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore-641004. Last date for receipt of completed application is three weeks from the date of this advertisement.
