Annual Library Book Exhibition 2022

Greetings!!! Dr.GRD Memorial Library is organizing Annual Book Exhibition during 13-15 September 2022, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm at quadrangle first floor participating 14 vendors, renowned publishers, 30,000 Book Titles, technical, general books and E-product vendors. 25% discount will be offered for all technical books. We cordially invite you to the Annual Book Exhibition 2022 inaugurated by Dr. K. Prakasan, Principal, PSG College of Technology at 8.55 am, Quadrangle first floor.

LIBRARY VISIT FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
EDUCATION
Dr.GRD Memorial Library is looking forward to reviving the tradition of sharing and enriching the knowledge of young minds by creating a space where one can experience the treasure of knowledge. If there is one sure way to get students excited about something, it is the promise of time out of school! Field trips to the library will motivate the young students and will be an excellent opportunity to introduce students to libraries when they may never have been to one before. Learning the way libraries work and how to use the resources, set up membership etc. can encourage them to use the free resources that they may not have been aware of. In this connection to inculcate the habit of reading among the school children and make them aware of various resources in library and as a Corporate Social Responsibility, we would like to introduce a provision for all the school children in India to visit our library and spend about 3 hours with the strength of 30 students of 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standards accompanied by an in-charge on all Second and Fourth Saturday. In addition, they can visit one major laboratory of the college.
TEQIP III Sponsored One Day Workshop on E-Resources for Teaching, Learning and Research

This one day User awareness program is designed to develop scientific understanding through quantitative expression of various e-resources for teaching, learning and research. This program will make a depth awareness of ideas and enhancing the skills on access to e-resources. In view of the need for enhanced quality of teaching and research, the Open Access Resource is an innovative platform to provide instant access to information resources to the teachers and students community. This one day program provides a platform towards conceptualizing the knowledge initiative of teaching and learning resources and highlights the online research tools
